I like to travel and explore.  I took up cycling ten or fifteen years ago and find myself riding further and further.  For me, cycling is the best way to immerse myself in the world.  The pace is just right to see a great deal of places, but not so fast that I pass by without seeing at all.  This year, I aim to complete a RUSA series of rides and a 1200k ride in the fall.  One day, I hope to do a month-long bike trip — maybe the Great Divide Route or across the USA from the Pacific to the Atlantic.

I used to read books for hours on end, and expect I will again as soon as I finish reading the internet and watching all the funny video clips.
